OASWCDE Training Scholarship - up to $50 per person
Scholarships are for OASWCDE members whose districts may not have the funds to sent staff to professional development opportunities. Those interested in applying should contact Amy Roskilly or Rebecca Longsmith with the following information:

- The name of the training and its full cost, along with a short description of the training, how it will benefit your position, and why you'd like to take the training.
- The amount you are requesting (up to $50).

The Sherry West Scholarship - $500 maximum
Applicants eligible to apply are: 1. A son or daughter (including step children) of a current member of the OASWCDE who has been a dues paying member of a minimum of three years prior to application deadline. 2. A son or daughter (including step children) of a retired, disabled or deceased district employee who was an OASWCDE dues paying member for a minimum of three years prior to their separation from service. |

NCDEA Don Aron Scholarship
The NCDEA Scholarship has been established in memory of Don Aron, who worked to organize the National Conservation District Employees Association. He also helped to establish the by-laws and served as the first President of our organization from 1992-1993.
The objective of the scholarship program is to provide financial support to a District Employee or member of their immediate family who is participating in a resource conservation curriculum while enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Donations are being accepted for the Scholarship Fund to help district employees and their families who are majoring in agriculture and agriculture-related studies.
